Committed educators, the role of the Catholic school in global transformation, technological development and artificial intelligence, and the educational challenges of the 21st century are some of the themes bringing together, from today until July 2, at the Sagrado Coração de Maria School in Lisbon, around 100 teachers, heads, and educational leaders from the 19 schools in 7 countries that constitute the Global Network of RSHM Schools.
The schools of the RSHM Global Network share the mission of educating so that all may have life, in the light of the charism of Fr. Jean Gailhac, valuing the gift of internationality, holistic education, and the formation of leaders who are globally competent, spiritually grounded, and committed to building a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
Among the speakers are Sister Coltrida Mooya, Leader of the Institute; Sister Teresa Nogueira, General Councillor; Sister Veronica Brand, General Councillor and representative of the RSHM NGO at the United Nations; Susan Kumnick, Coordinator of the Global Network of RSHM Schools; Sister Catherine Vincie, member of the Global Network Committee; Bishop Alexandre Palma, Auxiliary Bishop of Lisbon; Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal; Marco Bento, Professor at the Higher School of Education of Coimbra; Octávio Carmo, journalist at Ecclesia Agency; and Paulo Ribeiro Campino, Head of the Lisbon School.
